Mr. Frederick, a 57 years old Engineer almost lost his leg because of Diabetes. He was a very Energetic Man at work, but off work Fredrick experienced hell after a diabetes-related complication brought him close to having one of his legs amputated.

I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 32. This was a life-changing experience, but for me it had the added difficulty that I was told by my specialist that it meant that I won't be able to continue work.
Hearing this news and the prospect of losing my career I had worked so hard for was absolutely devastating.
As someone with Diabetes, I would always check my feet every day and talk to a healthcare professional about any changes.
But four years ago, I began to experience tingling and numbness in my feet and then started to get cramps when I was out on my daily job.

The Surgeon spoke to me personally after I had woken and warned me that if I don't get rid of Diabetes then I would finally lose my leg.
